Our Annual Valentine’s Big Band Fundraising
Event of “Swinging Through WWII” takes us on
a nostalgic journey back to the days of sodas, soldiers,
and swing. We fell in love to these tunes. We
said goodbye to loved ones. The music of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and others made
the difficulties of world conflict just a little easier to
endure, kept our toes tapping and our spirits high.

The evening features big band music, swing
dancing, dining, and exciting floorshow entertainment, all
done in the context of the 1940s. The event has gained national
popularity with its simulation of the 1940's Army Air Corp Big Band and U.S.O. show. The show features
a moving patriotic tribute to all in the audience who have served
